The Lovin' Oven is a bakery at 181 Historic Town Square, Lancaster, Texas 75146, operated by Petit Four LLC ("we", "us"). This policy explains what information we collect when you visit our shop or our website (lovinoventx.com), place an order, call us or text with us, and what we do with it.

Information we collect

  • Contact details you give us: your name, phone number, email address, and postal address (for delivery, or if you would like to receive mail from us).
  • Order details: what you order, pickup or delivery date, cake designs, flavors, messages to write on a cake, and the occasion (for example a birthday date, if you share it with us).
  • Photos and messages you send us, such as pictures of a cake design you would like.
  • Payment information: card payments are handled by our payment processor. We do not store your full card number.
  • Phone calls: calls to and from the bakery may be recorded for order accuracy and quality.
  • Website information: like most websites, ours records basic technical information (such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you visit) and uses cookies needed for the site to work.

How we use your information

  • To take, prepare, and deliver your orders, and to contact you about them.
  • To answer your questions and provide customer service.
  • To send you reminders and order updates, by text message or email.
  • If you have asked for them, to send you occasional offers, such as a birthday cake reminder, by text message, email, or postal mail..
  • To keep our records, run our business, and meet our legal obligations.

Text messages (SMS)

If you give us your mobile number and agree to receive text messages, we will text you about your orders: questions about your cake design, requests for photos, order confirmations and status updates, and pickup or delivery reminders. If you separately agree to receive promotional messages, we may also send occasional offers, such as a birthday cake reminder. Agreeing to receive text messages is never a condition of purchase.

Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving messages, or HELP for help. You can also call us at (972) 227-4425. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent are never shared with any third party, except with the service providers that deliver our text messages for us.

Emails and postal mail

If you give us your email address, we use it to send you messages about your orders, such as confirmations, receipts, and pickup or delivery reminders. If you agree to receive them, we may also email you news and occasional offers. Every promotional email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can also ask us to stop at any time.

If you give us your postal address, we may also send you mail, such as a birthday or holiday card or an occasional offer. Just let us know if you would rather not receive mail from us, and we will take you off our mailing list.

We do not sell, rent, or share your email or postal address with other companies for their own marketing.

How we share your information

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only:

  • With service providers that help us run the bakery, such as our payment processor, our phone and text messaging provider, our email provider, printing and mailing services, and the companies that host our systems and store our encrypted backups. They may use your information only to provide their service to us.
  • When required by law, or to protect our rights, our customers, or others.
  • With a buyer of our business, if the business is ever sold.

How long we keep it, and how we protect it

We keep your information for as long as we need it to serve you and to keep the business records the law requires, and then delete it. We protect it with reasonable security measures, including access controls and encrypted backups. No system is perfectly secure, but we take care of your information as we would our own.

Your choices

  • Reply STOP to any text message to stop receiving texts.
  • Use the unsubscribe link in any promotional email, or ask us, to stop receiving offers by email or postal mail.
  • Ask us at any time to see, correct, or delete the information we hold about you. We will do so unless we must keep it by law (for example, sales records).
  • You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; some parts of the website may then not work.

Children

Our website and services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
